Visit.Brussels with Handy.Brussels !

In the continuity of the collaboration that existed before with “Brussels for All”, Handy.Brussels works in partnership with visit.brussels.
For several years, visit.brussels, the communication and tourism agency for the Brussels-Capital Region has made every effort to develop tourist activities tailored to people with disabilities. A section containing accessible places for people with reduced mobility has also been added to the visit.brussels website: visit.brussels/forall

visit.brussels also takes care to raise awareness among stakeholders in order to implement accessible and sustainable certification for current and future infrastructure.

Patrick Bontinck, CEO of visit.brussels explains: “The city’s layout is unique. With the city being divided into upper and lower sections, and considering all the cobblestones, and irregular edges, exploring our beautiful Capital can pose a challenge to a person with reduced mobility.
The ‘Handy.Brussels’ site helps assess the accessibility of hotels, museums and other tourist attractions for people with disabilities.”
