Chicago Café
The Chicago Café made major changes seven years ago to make its space accessible to all types of people with reduced mobility. We can now draw a positive picture in two respects ; the benefit of this investment goes as much to the customers as to the operators of the establishment.
For an American “dinner”, the Chicago Café, located on rue de Flandre in the vicinity of Place Sainte-Catherine, is a friendly place to go for a brunch or a coffee. Its space is accessible to different types of PRM, through the arrangements in place or its personalized welcome.
The establishment was designed and renovated to be accessible to all.
For people in wheelchairs, a permanent access ramp and very good passage space, both at the front door and in the aisles between the tables.
An accessible toilet has been set up at the back of the store as well as a play area for children.
Another important point : a personalized welcome is always available to customers, and one or two people at the bar at the entrance can help you settle in, whatever your disability or your situation. The different formats of tables or chairs and sofas as well as good readability of the menus provide good access comfort.
The Chicago Café is a welcoming and original American place to satisfy many different cravings: breakfasts, brunches, hot dishes, vegan dishes, salads and fruit juices, hot and cold drinks.
